I was born in California in 1985. My parents were never married, and my father wanted to have me aborted. I often say my mother was the “pro choice” person, as she gave me the chance to live and choice to go as far as I want in this great county. My mother left my father, and at three weeks old, she flew me to Virginia to live and raise me as a patriot and conservative. She raised me as a single mother, and we struggled as she worked full time, purchased a home, and put me through private school from preschool through high school. I had plenty of friends, but it was very apparent that we did not have as much money as my peers as these schools were quite expensive.

I went on to get my associate’s in Administration of Justice from Northern Virginia Community college, and transferred to Marymount University to get my Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. While in college I started my first small business employing my fellow students. It thrived, even being mentioned on US News and World reports. It’s called Strong Students Lawn Care.

A week after graduating, my wife and I married and moved to Spotsylvania in 2014. I fell in love with our culture and identity here. I was always the odd conservative and patriot out while living in Alexandria. People who knew and liked me looked at me differently when they learned I had purchased my first firearm.

I have always been political, but by providence, I was blessed to meet and be supported by many Patriots here who believed that I was capable of carrying the torch of conservatism in Spotsylvania. People like my unapologetic and conservative brand.

Approximately four years ago, I joined a local Volunteer Fire Department which changed my life. Six months prior to the fire academy I realized that if I didn’t get in shape, I would never make it through the academy. I lost over 100 pounds and became a much more mature and focused person. After a ten month fire academy, I was sworn in and later became an EMT after another 5 month EMT academy. During the academy I made many friends and with one of them I startED another successful small business. I continue to proudly serve today, ready to give my last full measure of devotion for you and your family.

I live with my wife and two children in Spotsylvania and have done so for years. I’m very proud of the fact that I went to court to win custody of my oldest son, without an attorney, against an attorney and won. I often say that was a Mount Everest victory for all the great parents out there doing a great job. I also rose from member, then to secretary of the Regional Tea Party, to Vice Chairman, and now serve the region as the Chairman.

I’m not a perfect person, and I’ve made more than my fair share of mistakes. The fire academy however, taught me that you don’t have to be perfect to make a major difference, just be your very best. I will give you my best when IM ELECTED TO SERVE YOU AND EVEN PROTECT YOU AS YOUr next clerk of court!
